“Living at the Ripple House has helped me tremendously at making this attempt at recovery so much more successful than my prior attempts. The ladies are so encouraging and supportive of each other on a regular basis. Of course, we all have our trials and tribulations. Life is life, and life in recovery is very hard, as it is the opposite of how we lived, and what we knew, before. Life is much better for me here than how I was living previously. The Community and Employers have been very supportive and open to welcoming us. I am even learning to laugh again and be more assertive. My schedule is extremely full, but I am learning to take care of my life productively clean and more fulfilled. It takes everything I have, very little downtime, but I am a responsible, productive member of society. In short, I am learning to adult again!”
