Great Lakes Recovery Centers is seeking a part time (20 hours a week) limited licensed or fully licensed mental health therapist to provide weekly trauma assessments to youth ages 1 to 18. This position can be made full time by working in our Negaunee or Marquette Outpatient programs as a mental health therapist and/or substance abuse counselor. Preferred skills include demonstrated knowledge, experience and/or training in childhood trauma, assessment and testing, adolescent and family treatment modalities, and understanding of counseling theories and techniques.
The successful applicant will possess the ability to work as a collaborative team member, the ability to work with diverse populations, strong written and oral communication skills, and time management practices. Knowledge of the child welfare system is a plus. This position has some flexibility to work from home.
