Part time Communities That Care (CTC) Coordinator for Alger County, 20 to 29 hours per week. The role of this position is to get this new Coalition started as well as coordinate and maintain its ongoing presence and success in this community.

Adolescent Services Center (Negaunee, MI)
Full-time Monday – Friday direct care position working with our adolescents in residence for substance abuse and behavioral health issues. Job duties consist of providing day to day care and implementation of daily activities. Candidates should have working knowledge in education to assist our teacher working with clients on individual education plans. The position will oversee planning and implementation of our recreational programming so candidates should be a recreational enthusiast. Being creative will be a must when facilitating our Bridges Program pairing our youth with seniors for a weekly activity. The right person should have a positive attitude, strong leadership skills and ability to direct clients. GLRC is therapy driven and will help train on providing forms of therapy including individual and group therapy.

Experience in the human service field will be beneficial in this role. We are looking for dedicated and compassionate addiction counselors to join our team. Addiction counselors are responsible for assisting certified counselors to implement behavior accountability and skill building. The candidate will assist clients with day to day activities, monitor their behavior, record and collect data on clients’ progress, and communicate with clients. Other duties may include clerical and administrative duties.

To be successful in this role, you will display a compassionate nature, empathy and discretion in your work. You should have excellent communication and time management skills, and be able to develop and maintain relationships with clients, supervisors, and colleagues. Prior experience in a behavioral health setting is advantageous.
