The LIVE Art & Word Contest began in 2020 as a way to engage youth was recommended by a high school student in 2020 as a way to engage other students, encourage positive mental health and break the stigma surrounding mental health issues by giving others the opportunity to showcase their talents.
High school students from across the UP are able to submit their work in three different categories: Visual Art, Written Word, Song/Dance/Theater. We are able to offer cash prizes thanks to our generous sponsors.
The LIVE Art & Word Contest for Youth is open to all high school students across the U.P. Please carefully read the LIVE Art & Word Rules and Guidelines before submitting your entry.
To become a sponsor, please complete the 2023 Art & Word Sponsorship Form.
Thank you to all of the dedicated individuals that make up WESP’s community partners. None of this would be possible without those that make WESP a diverse group that is able to learn from each other’s unique skill set and background.
