Rebuilding Lives After Addiction

Rebuilding LIVES After Addiction

The mission of the Rebuilding LIVES After Addiction is to create a recovery community consisting of employers, housing supports, vocational linkages, and continued peer support and counseling. The ultimate goal is to help program participants secure and maintain employment, while connecting them to other social supports such as housing, medical services, and counseling.

Rebuilding LIVES After Addiction Vision:

The vision of Rebuilding LIVES After Addiction is that every individual has the tools needed to succeed as they begin their life in recovery.

The Rebuilding LIVES After Addiction Model:

Our mission is accomplished by a team of resource specialists and peer recovery coaches who implement a personalized plan for each participant which addresses all four areas of the recovery model.

  • Purpose: By helping program participants secure and maintain employment, participants are not only finding their purpose, but also helping to achieve independence through a sustainable income.
  • Home: Specialists and coaches connect individuals with recovery housing or the local Community Action Agency to help with housing.
  • Health: Specialists and coaches will help connect individuals to a healthcare provider and encourage them to schedule regular medical appointments.
  • Community: The Resource Specialist and the Peer Recovery Coaches will act as a support team and provide opportunities for participants to attend recovery support meetings. In addition, potential participant involvement in recovery housing could provide friendship and a positive social network.
