Deputy Director – Full Time 

Executive team management position working with GLRC services in the Central Upper Peninsula.

Prior work experience should include three years related work experience in behavioral health settings 

  • Responsible for coordination, leadership, development, and oversight for service systems involving residential, outpatient, community and recovery housing programming.
  • This position is a valued member of the agency leadership team and requires a background in working with substance abuse and behavioral health 
    • Master’s Degree in counseling, social work or psychology is preferred
  • Should have strong leadership skills and ability to integrate administrative and clinical care across service modalities. 
  • This position works directly with GLRC clinicians and managers for implementation of clinical services, protocols, and service delivery.
  • This position requires strong working knowledge in substance abuse, behavioral health and integrated medical care.

Therapist – Teal Lake Residential 

Master’s degree in the Human Services field and current licensure in the State of Michigan as a professional counselor, psychologist, or social worker.

Demonstrated basic knowledge, experience, and/or advanced training in:

Peer Support Case Manager (Sault Ste Marie)

PEER Support Case Manager utilizes lived experience with mental health or substance use recovery to guide others through the healthcare system. These roles bridge the gap between clinical services and community resources.

  • This role focuses on assisting individuals within the justice system (jail), hospital, and community by leveraging your personal recovery journey. Must be at least 18 years old, have at least two continuous years of recovery from addiction, and be willing to complete the MDHHS Peer Recovery Coach training and certification process if you have not already done so.
  • Must have experience navigating addiction treatment or prevention services, ability to work independently in a jail setting, hospital, and community, and possess basic computer literacy and strong professional boundaries.Resources

Master Level Therapist – Day Treatment Program (Marquette)

Great Lakes Recovery Centers is looking for a Full-time master’s (Human Services) level therapist to work with youth in our new Day Treatment therapeutic classroom being developed alongside with Marquette-Alger Regional Educational Service Agency to serve Marquette County School Districts. Job duties include carrying a caseload of youth placed in the day treatment program.

  • The role of the therapist includes developing treatment plans and continuing care plans, providing individual therapy, providing two therapy groups weekly, and family therapy. Consulting with educational staff, day treatment team, psychiatric services, and working with community base resources and/or outside therapist for coordination of care. Great Lakes Recovery Centers is seeking a full-time Outpatient SUD Clinician who has a passion for serving clients throughout their substance use journey to join our Team at Teal Lake Residential Services, located in Negaunee.

  • Qualifications needed are a graduate degree in counseling, social work, or psychology.
  • Full licensure preferred as a psychologist, limited licensed psychologist, or licensed MSW, though the ability to obtain full licensure within 2 years is required.
  • CADC/CAADC and two years of counseling experience post-credential.
  • Treatment experience in an identified setting of work is preferred (outpatient/residential). MI.
