This position entails implementing evidence based programing in the Iron County Schools providing life skills training to students. Will train the right candidate. Marquette, MI

Part-time Resource / Job Development Specialist with potential to full-time targeting the Upper Peninsula. Frequent travel between counties will be required, strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, communication skills and the ability to work with Offender Success (OS) specific population is required for this position. Ability to work independently and as part of a team desired. Wage commensurate with experience.

The Resource / Job Development Specialist’s primary responsibility is assuring counties have adequate services, leveraged and OS funded, to meet the assessed and PPA requested needs of returning parolees under the four service categories as defined by MDOC Offender Success Service Parameters.

Working collaboratively with the Project Manager, Community Coordinator, Job Placement Specialists, Program Accountant, Parole Agents, parolees, OS Management, and Offender Success Steering Team to carry out the purpose and duties as outlined above.

Candidates must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree. Knowledge & experience related to Corrections and Criminal Justice desired but not necessary. Minimum four (4) years’ experience in program development and management, or related field. Must pass background checks.

Adminstrative Office (Ishpeming, MI)

Full time. The ideal candidate should be a detailed orientated team player with strong accounting skills, communication abilities, financial reporting experience, and an aptitude for account reconciliation and financial data management. Prior experience in health care setting preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger monthly
• Receives bank statements and reconciles the bank accounts
• Prepare and process detailed financial statements
• Assist with all processes in Billing Dept. for A/R billing and collections
• Supervise A/P data entry and disbursements.
• Contracting, statistics
• Maintain internal control systems to prevent inaccuracies in financial statements
• Assist with written budgets and reports.
• Assist CFO with preparation of annual independent audit
• Detail oriented with speed and accuracy
• Financial Data Management as assigned
• Other duties as assigned by the CFO & CEO

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required. Three (3) plus years’ experience working in an environment that involves multiple responsibilities. Must pass background check.
